At the heart of the Lavaux

Lavaux has been included as a "cultural landscape" on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 2007. While its 10,000 terraces and incredible birds-eye view of the lake are truly captivating, it is the close relationship between people and their environment that makes this location unique. It is home to a regional knowledge that is handed down from generation to generation.

It is my intention to create a beautiful slope, with the right exposure and the right incline, and I will place the water table at the bottom so that it will benefit from two suns, so that the sun – which elsewhere only comes from above – will here come from above and below...

First of all we put it in crates... put it all in these crates and we then had toput the crates on top  of each other... Instead of a slope, it became a construction, a tower, the front of a fortress…
